OUTLINE OF SERVICE 

Provides independent confidential information and support to older people already living in, or considering a move to, a Care Home within Blaenau Gwent County Borough. (Also to their families, friends or carers.) Advocates routinely visit the Care Homes. 

The service operates an open referral system. 

The Service is managed by a Part Time Service Manager, with a Part Time Deputy and delivered by a team of caseworkers. 

The Service operates Monday to Friday from  9.00 until 5.00 pm. (4.30 Friday)

The office is open Monday to Friday from  9.00 until 5.00 pm. (4.30 Friday)

An answerphone operates at all other times.

Charges 

The Service is provided free of charge.

Situated on top floor, the office is accessible via 3 flights of stairs.
